Shipping Policy

We ship to Canada and the United States.

Shipping cost

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the total weight of your order
and your delivery country. All rates are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD); if
your checkout displays another currency, the equivalent amount is converted
automatically. Applicable sales taxes are calculated and shown at checkout.

Why does an order over 10 kg cost more to ship to Canada? Heavy items for Canada travel by air from overseas, while heavy items for the United States usually ship from our US warehouse.

The exact amount for your order is always shown at checkout before you pay.
Shipping is charged once per order, based on the total weight of the order,
even if your order ships in more than one parcel.

We do not offer free shipping, and there is no minimum order value for a
reduced rate.

Where your order ships from

Most of our items ship from overseas warehouses. A limited number of items
ship from a warehouse in the United States; where that is the case, it is
indicated on the product page.

Processing time

Orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days after payment is confirmed.

Delivery time

- Items shipped from our United States warehouse: 3 to 7 business days after
  processing.
- All other items: 10 to 20 business days after processing.

These are business days and do not include weekends or public holidays.
Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees: customs clearance, carrier
delays and peak periods can extend them.

Customs duties and import taxes

Items that ship from overseas are imported into your country when they are
delivered to you.

- United States: if your item does not ship from our United States warehouse,
  customs duties and import taxes may be charged when it is delivered. These
  charges are set by U.S. Customs and Border Protection, not by PawsNord.
  They are not included in the price you pay at checkout, and they are the
  responsibility of the recipient.
- Canada: imported items may be subject to duties and taxes assessed by the
  Canada Border Services Agency on delivery, payable by the recipient.

We cannot calculate these amounts in advance and we cannot refund them. If a
parcel is refused because of customs charges, the order is treated as a
return and the shipping cost is not refunded.

Orders with several items

An order containing several items may be split across more than one parcel,
and the parcels may arrive on different days. This is normal and does not
mean your order is incomplete. You are charged shipping once, based on the
total weight of the order, not once per parcel.

Tracking

You will receive a tracking number by email once your order ships. Tracking
information can take a few days to become active after the number is issued.
If your order ships in several parcels, you will receive a tracking number
for each one.

Incorrect address

Please check your shipping address carefully at checkout. If an order is
returned to the sender because the address was incomplete or incorrect, we
will contact you to arrange reshipment. Reshipment costs may apply.
